I am nuts about my coffee, so I was really excited when my boss told us he had ordered a new vending machine. We’ve had this one in the canteen for years and it isn’t very good. It works okay (most of the time…) but the drinks could be a lot better.
I don’t think that anyone else has a problem with the quality of their brew and maybe I’m being a little fussy. It’s just that I am quite a connoisseur when it comes to coffee! I enjoy plenty of different varieties (cappuccino, mocha and espresso) and probably drink a lot more than I should…
Apparently, this new machine uses proper ground coffee so I am really looking forward to trying it out! I’ve never been a big fan of instant coffee; even the better brands. For me, it has to start its life in a percolator to be any good!
The new machine arrives in a week or so and I can’t wait. One thing’s for certain; I will be the first one to try it out!
I am a bit of a coffee fanatic as well. Most people like tea where I work so I can’t see my boss splashing out on a half-decent coffee machine. At the minute we’ve just got a kettle and a jar of the instant stuff; and, just to add insult to injury, it’s ME who has to buy it!
I’ll bet your boss just loves you!
Do you ever get any actual work done?? Maybe you should stop thinking about coffee and concentrate on more important things…
